Oh no, someone did a thing! I'd better demoralize him or her or else I'll be less of a human being. Op, congrats on your work.

I am 100% on the side of reducing pollutants — but this was never publicly seen as a major issue and I'm suspicious about the timing. The oil industry is a conglomerate of degenerates spamming boomer logic all the way down to the worke

I like the walled garden but its a bit of an exaggeration to say they are doing a good job. Just last week, while looking for a password app, they had a "validator" app with in-app purchases using the old google authenticator logo

To rescue a flailing project that I took over when a senior hire ghosted a customer in the middle of a project, I got the 200$ Pro package from OpenAI (which is much less usable than Claude for our purposes; there were other benefits relate

Literally have the same thing; a wired XBOX360 controller that I bought a long time ago. I had to clean up the gunk inside a few years ago, but it still works perfectly fine. I've seen some videos explaining the cause of the Joycon iss

Strange, my copy of fitbox died after about 2-3 years of occasional use without any abuse. To be fair, this was the case for my Joycons too (Calling it drift is branding, they are effectively unusable) I like Nintendo's games but their

I enjoy playing with Suno as a toy to flesh out bits and pieces of creative ideas I have that I cannot complete at my current stage in life. Weird, stupid things. Writing theme songs for TV shows that don't exist, finding ways to tran

I speak Japanese — I'm pretty sure it isn't gibberish when I put in custom lyrics. (It does sometime read Kanji wrong but not when you put in the pronunciation) I can't say anything about autogenerated lyrics.

You must not use it that much. Features that worked in mIRC in the 1990s are broken, like sending messages. Right this second if I click to reply to someone's message, I can't add a message in Japanese unless I copy-paste it in.

I went to a Subaru dealer here in Calgary and asked about the Solterra with a friend present. The salesman bluntly told me to get a Tesla and half heartedly tried to get me to look at a hybrid. I wouldn't have believed it if I wasn&#x

I have hard similar things but I think that's an exaggeration. When I tell GPT o3 or o4-high to assume a professional air, it stops acting like a meat-based AIs on r/politics; specifically, it stops making inane assumptions about

I disagree. If anything, telling GPT to be blunt seems to downgrade its IQ; it hallucinates more and makes statements without considering priors or context. I jokingly call it Reddit mode.

"Not selling a lot because expensive". Not very insightful. I think it would have been interesting to know more — if it was difficult to replace panels, if there were issues with shading / inverters, or hail resistance or so

In winter, I lose 5-10% of my battery a day due to heating my battery. Tesla is nice enough to hide this under "You should keep your car plugged in all the time" messages. It's really a pain, especially if you have a relati

Off topic but this is much more of a common sentiment than I had thought. There was an anime series about this - 宇宙よりも遠い場所 — literally about high schoolers who wanted to go to the antarctic.

No it's not. People make grand statements all the time and appeal to values they claim are universal. Then when you hold them accountable for the fact that they value they are claiming is not the same as the values they have supported

I live in Calgary, overheat protection is only needed in one month in summer ;) I also installed the sun screen, the glass roof had a stress fracture and I didn't want to pay the $2k to fix it.

First, I appreciate the suggestions; thank you. The issues do happen a lot in front of my house (which has very poor cell phone coverage). I've had lessor drops elsewhere. I was wondering about the wifi myself too. I don't have

I have a model 3 from 2019 that is not quite as extreme, but gets similar issues. It should have 350 km of range. I see some people posting insane wh/km numbers, but I think I'm doing a pretty decent job (130-140 wh/km or ~
