Let’s be real most people don’t give a shit (unless they’re into emulators apparently), this is really about companies trying to slice up the pie between them.

How do we know they wouldnt like it? Surely their intention wouldn’t be to stop Apple receiving a benefit from providing a platform.

I’d rather not be treated as a cost centre and have non-tech business people second-guess everything.

A super efficient gas generator could be useful here. Maybe something like a phase change thermal battery to pick up the “waste” heat from the gas to electricity conversion could achieve more efficiency over the standard implementation.

My instinct is to distrust messing around with stones. Probably not a well informed take but since learning about asbestos I’m distrusting mineral wool insulation, and now this.

The clean solution is quite simple - if you don’t want non IT people writing software then buy a product to solve the issue or hire some experienced professional developers. The problem is that a lot of time the clean solution isn’t feasibl

I tried running a llama model using oobabooga but kept running into one problem after the next. Anyone know of a config that might work (even quite slowly) on an i9 laptop, 32gb ram with nvidia graphics 8gb?

It’s not just the current government, the whole of Parliament including the various committees are eager to just go along with the intelligence and security agencies who tell them encryption is bad.

I realise this is only a surface level comparison but the Julia code uses the built in factorial function which I think uses lookup tables and the C# version uses a recursive static method, the Python code has your own lookup table. I guess

I don’t get why maths teachers tend not to take the time to explain the definition properly. Even the symbols aren’t explained, they just assume students know the symbols.
