The first time I used it I lost out on a dream house I wanted to buy. I’m pretty sure I cut the asking price by about 50k with my low initial offer. But I was so over confident that the seller wanted to sell to me over the others that I did

Is there any flexibility on the public sector requirement? And is there a possibility that work experience counts as a credential of sorts? Perhaps you could work in the private sector for two years or so and come back to the public sector.

If you read Uncle Bob’s post he does say “tools are fine” and that he’s invested in them too. What’s so bad with adding discipline into the mix too?

That was really only the case in the last decade and now no longer the case with M1 chips. Before that we had a wonderful plethora of different personal computers.

The iPhone - light years ahead of what I was using at the time. Multimedia CDs with video and sound, and in particular multimedia encyclopaedias. That was mind blowing to have all that media in one place and in an interactive format.

The ironic thing a lot of the popular theming on Windows and Linux is to make it to look like Mac! I was thinking it would be great if someone redid the tiled wallpapers in windows 3.1 to be hi-res and realistic. The one with the leaves wou

I’ll go ahead and say it -compulsory education is up to age 15 in China and “Apple discovered additional workers as young as 14 years old during an audit”. It’s not worth closing the supplier down immediately for this. I also expect they ha

Is it me or have we come full circle on this? I remember a not long ago when internet companies were told they were publishers and liable for their content and then Zuckerberg asking for more regulation. I can’t keep up.

I like the idea but it’s a bit concerning that everyone would be expected to build models in Python. You’d think there would be enough reuse and structure that it wouldn’t be needed or an application could be built to simplify the construct

Some countries would allow it. The idea sounds a bit like BetFair (they set up an exchange, you name your odds and see if someone takes the other side) but for smaller pools.
