This means that the unit tests will miss a lot of possible errors. Nothing wrong with that, just use integration testing or functional tests to cover the other part.

Do they have ACID transactions around writing to all 3 servers? Doesn't that cause bad performance? You might also end up with a LOT of servers unless you starting sharing servers for different shards (but still with different sets of

I think it is easiest to show a graphical UI like SourceTree or GitKraken when you explain git. GitKraken is my favourite but it costs a little money to use at work.

It sounds like optionally typed languages like Typescript should be really good if you want to start in "wizarding" mode and then change the code more into an "engineering" solution.

It depends on how much better you think C# is but I think of this the other way around. You don't have to use Java anymore to get cross platform support, good performance and a stable and statically typed language. Regarding things tha

In a way you are just moving the complexity back to the server code. I am not sure that helps in any way. The server will now have to have state or reload state on every request and that state could include many things that are not obvious

He mentions this in the article. I agree that building a SPA can be a bit hard and it is not very wise to use in-experienced develpers (without mentoring/lead) to do it all. I have started to think about frontend development as at leas

As far as I can remember the Elasticsearch test that Jespen made years ago showed at by that time it was a very, very bad db. It was good for indexing content but not for storage.

Also, MobX is for most devs easier to understand and use than Redux and more similar to Vue and Angular. I think most small react projects should start with no external state management or mobx and only switch if they need it. Unless they a
