I think we invested in 60 US companies ;-) No problem to discuss with them. We don't always need to do that in real time. Email is good for 99% of subjects.

Our decisions are fast for everyone. Sometimes lawyers could need a little more time... We are not requesting reincorporation most of the time but sometimes we are advising the company to do that for many reasons

Agree with you that for it's not for everyone but for most early stage startups, it's a great deal. For the others, Kima Ventures still exists and we are investing at differents valuations (lower and higher)

Unfortunately, lawyers have to check that the company exists, request info from founders, check that the IP is owned by the company etc...So cost is 2.5K to $4K (and it's not expensive) We HATE paying lawyers... :-( We are not investin
