This is actually one of the reasons that anime characters have colourful hair. It helps serve as a creative outlet and an escape from the conformity, rather than to depict it. (Conformity at work and school, that is. Walk through somewhere

A place I used to work had engineers documenting their work essentially in the form of a blog. It was actually really a useful habit, and reviewing the project blogs once each week made it really easy for me to find cases when I could help

Don't be surprised if your colleagues start to very frequently say "sorry I didn't see your hello", six or seven hours or even multiple days late.

Speaking as a reviewer, reviews do take an immense amount of time, especially just in trying to figure out what was done and how. Code would actually speed things up a lot.

Exactly. If you need to make changes to the design of an injection molded part, you'd better make them all at once, because the cost of a new mold is $100k whether you make one change or seven.

It's not more complicated than that. There is a confusion between incremental torque, which does get reduced (as correctly noted in the above) but only because the increments get reduced, and stall torque or holding torque, whi

Microstepping isn't bad. The author says it reduces torque, but it does not. That is a myth. As long as you are below the maximum pulse frequency that your controller can process, there's no penalty at all to microstepping.
