Wait is generation on the host? Nonono you generate a GPG key on the key then export the public key and derive the SSH key. These instructions are wrong the host never should store the key even if airgapped

Is it retro? Sounds like some kind of fantasy game. The Tandy it was designed to mimic was actually made to help real people in real work

If you’re into the D1 get a $25 Mango Pi 1Gb from Alixexpress. They also have very nice minimalist metal cases if you search. Wifi and bluetooth onboard. This Devterm product looks great largely because it copied the design of the Tandy. Bu

Do you know why? A mania kills a segment of the stupid, but provides enough capital to the remaining lucky who cashed in early such that they can reproduce where they otherwise wouldn’t have. It’s evolution at work. In the short term.

You know if I was a state sponsored intelligence unit the very first software I would backdoor would be IDS and TOR and every type of pentest tool. These tools secure you from intrusion like a flare gun hides your location.

I emailed Tim Cook about that and got a lengthy printed response a few months back. Paraphrasing; ‘they do care and they’re working on it’.

> Rich powerful people don't accept that truth, and keep trying to get what they want. But you can't always get what you want. Some people can’t stop trying, it’s involuntary. That 80’s tough love slogan “never, never give up”

I think we need to predict what kids will become, what they actually want, and fully commit to giving them that outcome. It’s necessary to take some risk of an outcome like WW, but they were just being opportunistic. We need to pursue for c

They can’t consent to anything by your logic we should cut a hole in a cardboard box and put them in it until they’re 18. You have to be practical, that opportunity could generate millions for his future and build a career. I mean you can’t

My parents pushed me hard, but sent me to a liberal arts school, and I’m hardwired for engineering. Hilarity ensued. The grinding of gears was a memory I would pay to erase. Deeply resent spending hours every day learning languages for coun

Even though I use a mx master 2 I strongly dislike logitech product. It’s tacky and minimum acceptable quality. Like Dell laptops. Opening the box you cant tell where the shipping packaging ends and the product begins.

Love how they take apart a nuc reassemble it in a Chinese clone laptop and then stamp a stupid logo everywhere. You brand what YOU make. They probably didn’t even design the logo

So crypto built a lobby by permeating social networks. Those who owned it effectively received a kickback from promoting it to their peers and were heavily incentivized to silence dissent. On HN I remember Sam Altman promoting a ridiculous

Code is law. He deserves every cent, because it’s all as worthless as the rest of the crypto sector will be in a few months. He deserves the money because he illuminated the true state of crypto by example in a sea of fraud.
