It's easier and cheaper for the electrician to run one power line and then distribute power via switches. Doesn't make it right, but most people put up with it.

I don't trust the Supreme Court to produce a proper ruling on this one. I assume Aereo will lose. That said, I don't see how it could be argued that Aereo is breaking any law.

IANAL, but is that clause even enforceable if tied to severance? Seems like a reasonable argument could be made that signing such a clause when tied to severance negotiations would fall under "duress" from a legal standpoint.
