I don't think you hit product market fit, though. It should be pretty obvious. If you had, and the market was as big as you say, then people would be flocking in just by word of mouth. I would suggest to iterate on product, talk to you

I think it's one of those studies where they say they are testing for X but they are actually testing for Y. Not sure what Y could be. But I don't even live in the US or consume it's media, and could still figure out all of t

Although the article seems very poor, for motives already stated by other posters, I think there is a legitimate debate that is not being taken. Industrial farming is pretty bad in ecological terms. Organic farming might be better, but the

I don't think the analysis is the same for someone who chooses to die at 36. At 72 you already had the possibility of living a "full life". Meaning had children, see them grow and probably have families of their own; have a c

I don't mind LibreOffice's interface in general. Only a sublime style Ctrl+p find would make a huge difference. That alone would put it's interface on top of MS office in my opinion.

This bit us too. We use goodaddy's external secrets [1] to fetch secrets from AWS secrets manager and make them available to the cluster. It polls the secret every n seconds, but with many services consuming secrets, it can scale up pr

Why is that? My daughter has an extremely restricted access to screens. I code for a living. She understands that is my work. She understands we consider she is too young to decide the contents she watches. And even when she doesn't un

Got me thinking... How long till AWS DeepPhysician? They don't seem to have a clear cut on the limit of the scope of their services. Joke apart, what would be the implications and responsibilities of big tech entering the medical field

Loved both frases. Will add them to my own. Mine is: "having kids is as beautiful as it is hard. And it's the most beautiful thing in the world". My mom always says "the older the children, the harder the problems".

I think that's the whole point. It's not about what is interesting and what not, but what truly obsesses you . What OP means is that cooking is not something he feels obsessed about. It's great if you are obsessed about co

The efficiency of converting plant based protein into animal protein to feed that to humans is very low [1]. A huge portion of the crops are actually used to feed cattle. If humans stopped eating meat tomorrow, we would have plenty of food

I don't know that much about encryption at all. But I was wondering if the fact that the private key for a certain web server could be uncovered using this attack implies that all the encrypted data that could have been gathered by, sa

It sounds like you live next door :). The problem is indeed deep and complex. Educating the young is not nearly enough. IMO, there's a whole issue about educating the educators. I had a teacher in school who would give us the answers t

Having used Angular in a couple of projects, I mostly agree with the OP. However, the "moving forward" part is somewhat tricky. The subject has been discussed over and over in HN, but still, I don't feel comfortable settling
