Nice work. I like that you included the correlations with confidence score in the MVP. 1) What about adding RescueTime? 2) Where can I sign up?

They receive a list from the school and buy what is on the list. In general, we do have to tell them what to buy sometimes.

Fair enough. We haven't run into those issues. They tend to order their supplies off Amazon, but I don't know much about what they choose or why.

Do you think an expensive pencil performs better than a cheap pencil? What about folders, glue, notebooks, graph paper, etc? When we get into electronics, the school list specifies which graphing calculator to buy. Will my kids find a used

The key is to require the kids to make purchasing decisions. Our kids (ages 12, 11, 9 & 8) are required to purchase all of their own school supplies, clothes, activities, etc. They earn the money from us and can earn a lot, but they hav

I use OmniFocus. Every once in a while I look for something "better" but decide that I just need to be better at using OmniFocus. That is probably true for any of the todo list apps.

Do they need domain knowledge? If not, then you might try starting with companies that provide coaching on daily huddles, goal setting, etc. I have a friend who has a consulting company that is in this space. I know they will at least come

Just curious, how big are those lists? There is a big difference in a restaurant with 10,000 customers and an e-commerce site with 3,000,000.

I don't know how many kids you have or how many failed startups you have had, but I have some very relevant experience here. Give it 3 months and ask the OP if he ended up homeless.

No we are not. It might be rough while the dad gets a job, but people don't go from startup founder to homeless.

You have no idea what risk he should or shouldn't have taken. I don't know if you have kids or not, but as a parent you have to both care for your kids and also provide them a good example of how to live. For me, a life without ri

Failure sucks. I have been there. In my experience the hardest part was that I couldn't separate myself from my startup. So when the startup failed, I was a failure. This was compounded b/c the startup failed in large part b/

As a parent of 6, I call bullshit. I want my kids to take risks. I want them to challenge the status quo. I want them to think for themselves. I want them to appreciate the irrational. I don't care if they get an xbox for Christmas.
