I definitely understand that perspective - and to be clear there are good ad providers out there, we just haven't been winning the war in our own industry. I don't think a pinky swear would work either, but I think if the browsers

Here are my thoughts from the ad industry side: http://adexchanger.com/data-driven-thinking/ad-blocking-will... I think there is a chance to make it better, ad blocking is not yet maintsteam and I think there is a room

I wrote this piece so happy to answer any questions - also love to hear any suggestions or thoughts from people running ad block.

Because there is no proof that your assumption is true - people tend to believe they aren't affected by advertising when they actually are. There is plenty of science out there to show the effectiveness of advertising, even if you neve

If it's something you are really looking for I am not sure you would bounce so quickly. What if it's the answer to a bug you are trying to solve? Or a video on how to fix a problem with your car? Plenty of content is valuable and

This is not completely accurate - most ad blockers include both request blocking as well as content blocking. For instance it might not be able to block a sponsored tweet since it is returned with all of the other tweets, but it can hide th

Two reasons. 1. Because they always have. The precedence was set a long time ago. 2. Because Apple doesn't give a fuck what other people think.

I phrased it poorly - we get off the week around the holidays as the company closes down. I also take probably another week off for random days here or there.

We also close between Christmas Eve and January 2nd so that is a another week that is mandatory off for everyone. I meant 2-3 weeks in a row. Last year I took off 10 days to go to Europe, then another 2 weeks in the summer. Plus the random

We have an unlimited vacation policy at Adzerk and I try to lead by example by taking at least 2-3 weeks off a year (especially in the summer). We also try to encourage everyone to take at least one solid week off a year and it seems to wor
