Really? I just read over it lying in bed for the last 15 minutes and found it super straight forward and well explained. Kudos to the pg team!

But if it works like that aren’t there schema migration paths that are changing the actual content of a column and are then not undoable?

But you find those things in every basic book or course etc. That are the very basics nowadays. And I would not call scraping and monitoring advanced topics. Advanced topics are multi stage image builds, helm charts + deployments and clean

Wow in 2023 someone thinks this is worth a blog post? At least some log scraping + monitors with graylog, ELK or the like would be the minimum imo…

Thank you for your answer - that’s why I thought about parallel beams in a big scale.

So we need just more space - like a football stage to have 150+ parallel lasers each one producing one waver per hour?

One layman question here maybe someone with better knowledge of the field can answer: could it make sense at some point to work without masks and lights and have only large scale laser arrays that write the structures directly but in the sm

I would describe the first two more like: I feel with you. I have feelings for you. Sympathy for me is liking someone or something e.g. an idea whereas I understand empathy as to be able to understand and share someone’s emotion/emoti

You just didn’t get my point: in 2023 it’s about the environment at least for me. That’s why I wrote my comment. Just buying a new one is somehow dated imho. But ymmv

You are not sellout but just the average Joe. No problem with that I guess. Have fun with your Mac that uses a soldered ssd that when failing makes your whole Mac useless as well.

I don’t even understand why we call models that predict text output to a question AI. For sure we will get a lot stuff automated with it in the near future but this is far away from anything real intelligent. It just doesn’t really understa

This. Thank you. Also the amount of claims and self confidence in this thread by people not even able to back their claims with examples is hilarious imo.

I mean isn’t it just the same as with a real world package/message. It just depends on how much effort you are willed to put into your desired delivery model?! … But guaranteed is nothing, never.

I did understand the comment differently. More that at some level OKRs are not important and the decision that a product/module is needed is everything a good working development team needs to do it’s job. That has nothing to do about
