If you consider a language besides Python itself (which has optional typing), Nim could be an option, as the syntax is similar.

It's getting there. New services constantly improve the situation by giving solopreneurs powerful tools. The SaaS I'm working on (InventAI) will be one of them, and I suspect that generative AI will turn the tide and make solopren

I don't know. The bank should explain that to me, but I haven't had anything from them.

It was a long time ago, but I think I remember something about an Unexplained Wealth Order. It could be that my explanation wasn't good enough for them. I need to chase this up again. I worked as a consultant (permanent position) and h

I've seen a lot of undemocratic actions by democratic countries. Democracies can be of a very weak form, that name alone is not enough.

Hopefully that's what happened, then perhaps there's a small chance I can find out what did happen and maybe even see that money again. But it was more than 10 years ago, I think.

There was no transaction. It looked like the money had never been there.

Well it's possible someone tried to make me look suspicious. But I think it's very unfair and even deceitful not to tell me anything at all.

I'll try again. Everything I've done seemed like a dead-end, but I'll try.

I think this is related to corruption - of which I am a target, which started in South Africa (where I'm originally from and have now moved back to), which seemed to spread to the UK when I moved there. I can't get anything in bla

I had money disappear out of my NatWest account several years ago, when I lived in the UK. No transaction was present to show where it went. Nobody at the bank would speak to me about it, not to this day. I'm talking making it obvious

This will be needed. In fact, I think education will place a higher emphasis on critical thinking skills in the near future because of AI.

A better competitor does make your AI app less valuable. Mine is coming up, https://inventai.xyz .

I see gamified as structured. A lot of new founders, and those who've yet to succeed, don't know how to get organized. YC is helping with efforts like Startup School.

I think the point is that these AIs will be far more convincing than one-off messages.

Can I ask those replying, which moderation rules would you choose, in general?

The reason Reddit is so heavily moderated is so that it stays a good place for discussion. Those rules are often in place because of prior bad experiences.

This looks similar to what I'm working on for InventAI ( https://inventai.xyz ). It's all about improving prompt engineering.

Building takes time though. The more you have to show, the easier marketing is. So the key is to build faster, which is problematic when you're bootstrapping.

I'm also building two SaaS products, but full-time. It's really not easy, but I wanted to identify what people were interested in. Going all out on a single project can feel like spinng your wheels. It has helped knowing that the

AIs automatically posting content will surely be used for SEO purposes. This is a very disheartening thing, but it's inevitable. We should have regulation to know if content was written by an AI, a human, or both. Otherwise AI will tra

It can be a good thing to wait a minor version or two before upgrading to the latest major version. There's much more confidence in the release that way, some companies even have a policy along those lines.

AI is pushing humans to do better. I remember about week ago Paul Graham tweeted that if you couldn't write a better novel than an AI then you need to seriously improve (paraphrasing).

We often have to spend so a lot of time and energy on boring but critical tasks like writing repetitive CRUD code and tests. LLMs can free up that time and energy for critical thinking. We will have to review code LLMs write, I don't
