I always see people posting that search has got worse and worse throughout the years. Now it makes perfect sense. They did it on purpose to make users search more. The same pressures will eventually apply to big techs ai products. The teams

I meant that sqlite doesn't listen to the network. It's not a server the way mysql and postrgres etc are. So if you want to access it from another machine you have to do so via a shared drive type setup.

Cause it has to be accessed by disk protocols which are slow over the network is my guess. As you have to scale to more than one machine then you lose the convience of sqlite.

From what I'm seeing in some game dev discords I participate in, AI is going to make the devs that don't learn the fundamentals way worse off than SO.

artists, desginers, editors, copywriters, voice actors, customer support folks were all facing a much bigger threat a long time ago. Photoshop "ai", design templates, and outsourcing destroyed most of them a long time ago.

Can''t you just replace every mention of AI with outsourcing in your post? Literally everyone was freaking out in the 2000's about their job because of India.

I haven't seen this many "Network, I need help" post since 2009. I vividly remember the Fed refusing to acknowledge a recession until total melt down of the major banks.
