While I don't doubt that CEOs work a lot, I wouldn't trust the accuracy of this study all that much. The CEOs knew their activity was being recorded by their assistants, so it likely affected their behavior. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ha

It's crazy, I've gone rock bottom and offered a one-page redesign for $500 (for a restaurant whose site was just a logo and a link to a PDF of their menu), and it's still like pulling teeth. I understand that they're very cash-conscious (my

This is fantastic, I was just looking for a way to turn incoming emails into Resque jobs for a weekend project without having to mess with postfix mail filters, and I was just about to resort to paying for SendGrid.

Every time I go to a restaurant that's practically empty, I check the website on my phone and it's always really bad (busy restaurants usually have at least a decent site). The worst part is I often offer to do a redesign for a modest price

Looks very nice, I like being able to design your hosted payment page. Does the "thank you page" redirect pass along enough information to be able to associate the subscription with a user account? Also, do you plan to do some kind of URL p

I anticipate a lot of luddite rage and probably a good number of accidents (and maybe even a few deaths), but we're not going to get to The Future by just wishing it so.

How many people REALLY use video chat though? I mean more than once a year. Even among techies and businesspeople, video chat rarely seems to have an advantage over regular voice chat.

I'm not sure I buy the "government banned this to promote consumerism" argument, but I'm definitely interested in trying it out as an experiment.

If remembering attribute names is your concern, you can use an IDE or vim plugin for autocomplete, or just use annotated_models to add/update the schema down at the bottom of your model files on every db:migrate: https://github.com/opentea

seeds.rb isn't intended to be run more than once on a particular database instance. Running it more than once results in duplicate entries, unless you're explicitly checking for dupes (not always possible). It looks like seedbank is fairly

I've been getting hit up by companies lately, and it's been a little bit of a put-off for me when they say things like that. Not because I think it's something bad for a company to want, but because I suffer from Impostor Syndrome sometimes
