I tried adding one of my domains (read.io), but having to create DNS records for every domain I own is a huge pain. I'm building a similar service now, which automates everything through WHOIS and DNS resolution. The feedback on this p

I agree with many that this is very well done. I would like to see some usability tests to see if there would be as much confusion as I expect. Without great experiments like these, there would be no progression. Kudos to Ken.

As a side benefit, this showed me that Symfony has a really nice trace output. I wish Codeigniter had this.

This is a great concept. I've been a long time user of PostmarkApp, which has served me extremely well, but requires a lot of coding time to create and deploy new emails. If you've ever created HTML emails, you know the pain I

Agreed. I certainly encourage seatbelt use as I saw far more people saved by using them than not. At one point we got to a streak of 8 or 9 rollovers with no injuries whatsoever. If the occupants were not wearing seat belts I can say for ce

One server? Not much redundancy in that setup. It's no wonder your costs are so low.

Since this feature is backed by a bank (FDIC backed bank no doubt) I assume it has the same protection as any other transfer and that the backing-bank is actually shouldering the risk.

I had the opposite experience. I used them for years and received prompt support, even getting direct to a sysadmin over the phone. I also regularly received up to 50% off their advertised prices just by doing a little negotiating. Of cours

I built something thing like this using Twillio for my Caller ID test tool. Visiting the site creates a unique pin number and you have to call in and enter it. http://www.calleridtest.com Twillio makes the development of things like this

Downtown Boston. Please. I'm paying $1,500/m for a 50x50mbps primary and $350/m for a 100x10mbps backup. The alterative is DSL from version at 1Mbps peak, or a T1 - 1.5mbps for $500/m. We need something new in this old city of copper.

The rising price just makes me laugh. I "invested" $1,000 in BTC during the early hype as it was approaching $32.00. I told my co-workers how cool of a concept it was and that my investment was sure to pay off with a skyrocketing price. Aft

For those with custom domain names... $20/year vs $60/year for Google Apps. Ads or not, thats a compelling savings for my many pet projects where I only need 1 or 2 @projectname.com mailboxes. It's a shame that Google Apps got rid of the fr
