   Thanks, I've come to the same conclusion after more research into Go. Will be moving everything to Python.

   Greatly appreciate your input here. I've been digging more into Go to get a better feeling for it and I'm arriving at the same conclusion. It's more targeted towards programmers and remote network services, not for systems

   of course, those software packages you mentioned have their place in the world of system administration, especially at scale. Using Go language isn't the be-all and end-all. What I'm asking if the language is now worth shifting
