I was also looking for IT-related podcasts and had the same impression. What seems to work is when people write interesting books and then go on shows to promote their books by talking about the content.

> You'll find thousands of shows with perfect audio quality and professional-grade cover art that contain absolutely zero intellectual nutritional value This is why I switched to audio books. Many podcasts with real guests contained

I had some eye strain and think it is because my eye muscles are overused. A doctor told me the muscles in the eye are flat, like tapes, and that I would not feel a muscle ache. I noticed the strain when I focus on different points quickly.

At the leafs of the branches I'm comfortable to just generate code (e.g. a popup dialog). But I want to have a good grasp of code that is central of the application.

I wish I had an intuitive understanding of how much I can do with a GPU. E.g. how many points can I move around? A simulation like this would be great for that.

The critics claim the noise collapses quantum states so quickly that it's not possible to make full use of the quantum effects. The burden of proof is on the chip makers. I think they have not convinced the critics yet.

Last month I saw a tweet how to serve files using python3 -m http.server 1337 Then I turned it into an alias, called it "serveit" and tweeted about it. And now I see it as a bash script, made a little bit more robust in case pytho

Tailscale and python3 -m http.server 1337 and then navigating the browser to ip:1337 is a nice way to transfer files too (without chunking). I've made an alias for it alias serveit="python3 -m http.server 1337"

I've attempted this with pdftomp3.com where you can listen to PDFs. It has an "AI Explanation" mode where the content of the PDF gets explained. Its like a NotbookLM podcast, but I was earlier :) Currently I'm working on

I've heared the part of the processor where the actual processing happens is so thin (0.2-0.3mm) that you might be able to see through it.

One could start with a large model for exploration during development, and then distill it down to a small model that covers the variety of the task and fits on a USB drive. E.g. when I use a model for gardening purposes, I could prune know

I'm not an expert on this topic, so take it with a grain of salt. The reason a low carb diet works for many people (not necessarily extreme keto) is that it reduces the volatility of blood sugar levels, and this results in fewer cravin

What I'm certain of is that the standard of living will increase. Because we can do more effective work in the same time. This means more output and things will become cheaper. What I'm not sure of, is where this effect will show
