Just checked her site and it's really good. Thanks for the tip. I have found one interesting tip regarding braces, brackets and parantheses. While I use all three of them all the time, she says that brackets and braces are seldom used. More

So, if one smaller part of shareholders couldn't force a sale to Yahoo, then why larger part of shareholders couldn't force a sale to Google? As I understand, management was all for Google.

What I don't understand is this: who has the power to decide such things? In this story it seems like there are two entities who can block each other. Why didn't someone decide for Yahoo, if their offer was so much better? It's in the inter

I understand there's additional effort needed. What I don't understand is, why you and some others keep repeating that it's such big problem to solve. It really isn't, based on my experience. There's nothing massive about it. If nothing els

No, I didn't know that, because it's completely counter-intuitive approach to creating software. You have to abstract most of the stuff and then port just OS-specific stuff. It's beyond me why a company of the great software development tra

While I agree with grandparent's take on webkit meme, I don't agree with your take on multi-platform meme. IE-on-other-platforms meme will never die, because this is an important issue for many people. For major releases, like IE9, they cou
