Wouldn't that be an overkill to train a model specifically for that? I wish someone could come up with an algorithm that would outperform a trained model. This way we would actually understand how it works.

I'm thinking about the other way around. Assuming that their aluminum 3D printer works, print the aluminum mold using their 3D printer. Then make plastic parts with injection molding.

I still think that it'd be easier to maintain the script that runs on a single computer than to maintain a hadoop cluster.

Impressive. People in old days are rather creative in getting the most out of the existing technology.

Years ago I gave up on DuckDuckGo because Google returned better result. Lately I gave DuckDuckGo another shot. It isn't better than before but with the deteriorating quality of the result coming from Google, now that DuckDuckGo's

Agreed. Clearly they're using some kind of fuzzy text matching, which isn't quite working correctly. They need to bring back keyword-based matching. At least provide an option to enable that.

Even if you're able to do things like this, chances are that it isn't a compiler bug when you encounter issues like this one.

The main limitation I've encountered with KiCad is its component library ootb. Anyway those can often be downloaded from third party websites.

That's exactly why it's a bad idea to use IoT on everything! Most companies working on this kind of product doesn't give a shit about security.

Impressive. I've noticed that the photo shows an very old CRT monitor. I wonder if this program would still work with a modern HDMI monitor. And why doesn't it work for FM? Is it a software limitation or a hardware one?

At first I thought that the first pic in the article was the diamond that the author synthesized.

The problem with Arduino is that, whatever microcontroller they're using can be easily sourced by anyone else. That's why it's so easy to clone them. For Raspberry Pi, those mobile phone SoC are rather difficult to source. Yo

I've used a system that each worker of the building would be given a card. In the hall, there's a card reader. There's multiple elevators in the same building. To use the elevator, one would need to tap the card against the c

How could IPv6 help on that? They could just use the prefix to figure out which network you're coming from.

This estimation method would only work under the assumption that earth is a spherical. Now that we do know that it's a sphere. But how could you figure that out back in 2000 years ago?

This. Software are there to solve problem. Not to create more problems. If there's a problem, try figuring out a way to solve it without software first. Only use software as the last resort.

I wouldn't recommend using ESP32 for that. It's overpowered for this application. You don't even need its wireless connectivity. I guess using something like RP2040 or ATTiny would be a better option.

Could it be just misconfiguration of the server of shared hosting, or just some issues with CDN server? That looks like an unusual URL to compromise.
