Many of the views are, but some do not bind to AppKit/UIKit and instead are drawn directly (I think maybe Image is one?). The idea is you could keep SwiftUI's API stable while deprecating AppKit/UIKit piecemeal underneath.

From the FAQ: The short answer is "hardware support". ravynOS should run on most commodity x86_64 hardware using FreeBSD's very stable and performant drivers. The longer answer is that plus I don't see any real advantage

I always thought it was the case that the UG was riskier from a liability perspective but quickly reading over it, it's not entirely clear that's the case.

Or print out hundreds of pages of documents nobody reads and awkwardly wait while someone painstakingly scans each one to “have it digital”.

There is a strong anti-nuclear sentiment here but the issues facing Germany are more to do with political incompetence and underinvestment. Nuclear is just one part of the whole mess.

I've come to the same conclusion, if a side project doesn't make even a little money I'm not interested in maintaining it, software-wise at least. I've also had bad experiences with free apps, mainly rude/entitled s

Anecdotally speaking as someone who grew up there, I feel investment property is tied culturally to wealth building in Australia above all other asset classes (I left 6-7 years ago so maybe it's changed), it's also encouraged by t

Welcome to modern "content marketing". It's just the latest way to game SEO, pump out semi-automated or completely automated "content" and backlink to your site.

You're lucky, some I've worked with seem oblivious to mobile platform conventions altogether. Is it that hard to sit down and spend some time reading the HIG?

I think it really demonstrates how much more important execution is than an idea. Being the “simple” version of X or X for “niche user” can be a viable strategy rather than coming up with some revolutionary product idea. It also lends itsel
