I can't think of a time when Arrington was seriously wrong. His leads get in way before the news breaks and his stories have even altered what was to be announced. I doubt Mike just made this all up. Especially how everyone in that room has

It would be nice to hear of some hypothetical usage opportunities. My website usually comes with a keyboard and mouse and a using a phone seems more cool than realistic. With one good example, I could get excited about the possibilities.

Looking for a Product Manager position. Relocation is a plus. Great travel domain experience as a PM and Founder. Geeky stats oriented companies are preferred. Resume criticism is welcomed. http://www.docstoc.com/docs/48388609/James-Shame

The author does a great job looking at historical Kickstarter successes and optimizing his changes to achieve his goal. This guy may be an artist, but he's got great business sense too and that's rare in today's the art world.

these numbers aren't correct. FourSquare didn't grow to 2m users on $1m. Last month before they publicly closed their financing, they had 25 employees and were expanding ( http://techcrunch.com/2010/06/28/checking-in-to-foursquare-a... ). M

Conde Nast looks like a bunch of chumps right now. I doubt Mike Raldi will last longer than a year if he has to raise funds in this way.

It is funny that we are still using these old systems in CAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA. This week, NuCaptcha launched a video captcha offering. They have solved the readability and sweat labor issues that have come about. It's a true security offer

If you do it, you're on your own. VC's don't invest in ideas that are not defensible (protected by patents). I'm sure there's an exception but you'd have to have a great working product to convince someone to give you cash in the wake of IP
