It still feels like you haven’t absorbed their absolutely valid point that you may be hating first and coming up with rationalisations afterwards. There’s a more rational way to tackle this.

The ick is human nature against the uncanny valley, some fear of change, and SOME actual valid points and concerns morally and legally. You’ll only not be dismissed as a Luddite if you focus on the last one only.

I believe that’s the main reason why you dislike AI, but I believe if you asked everyone who hated AI many would come up with different main reasons why they dislike it. I doubt that solution would work very well, even though it’s well int

It’s a fair point that ai training makes enforcing licences more difficult than other situations. My point is that licence issues like this this aren’t really a technology issue it’s a company greed/legal issue because it’s always been

Everyone. That’s what “the price is lower” means. Don’t paint me as someone who doesn’t understand wage stagnation or cost of living crisis, I fully understand and am on board with those issues. My point is simply that petrol is a bad examp

You’re spouting straight gun propaganda. It has been proven over and over and over that gun restrictions work very effectively. Anything else it’s literally just a lie.

You make a good point! The US isn’t really civilised enough to compare it to countries with proper modern and safe societies, so why should it aim to those heights? If we just compare the US to other countries with issues of violent crime w

I strongly doubt that. The main reason you don’t run it is likely because you don’t have strong motivation to do so, or you’d push through the odd start up time.

I think you created it the same way christian von koenigsegg makes supercars. You didn’t hand make each panel, or hand design the exact aerodynamics of the wing, an engineer with a computer algorithm did that. But you made it happen, and th

The hardware isn’t overpriced, it’s best in class. It’s just that that class isn’t what you’re looking for, and as a Linux user it’s not for you, which is valid! But the hardware for what it is is one of the absolute best price to performan
