Many engineers discover a need of rate limiters the hard way :-). I just wonder, do you use rate limiters just for external API or also for internal API of your microservices?

One missed point: inequality. On one hand few companies which will own autonomy tech will get all profits, while a lot of ppl will lose job. So the transportation cost instead of going to labour will mostly go to capital owners or decrease.

Maybe we should think outside of the box. What if, aircraft doesn't need to store all of the required energy on-board? E.g. transmit energy wirelessly through microwave and just have enough fuel for emergencies.

I appreciate Y Combinator at grabbing ppl attention. We need to do more of this ambitious projects. However, I'm rather disappointed lack of even fundamental technical vision. I get that if you shoot to fly in a decade you can optimist

I once won $100 from their competition, but never figured out how they are going to be profitable. Independent mobile app search makes little sense when there are two App Stores (Android and App Store) with builtin search.

This help my life a lot. Buying RIs monthly give us a huge savings, but was a huge headache. First with Regional RIs I no longer have to worry about AZ and modifying RIs, now I don't worry about RI modification to have right size.

CubeSats came a long way from being a hitchhiker to main payload to significant percentage of total payload. The question is when, CubeSats will be the primary payload.

I believe convenience may be a huge argument for a lot of ppl. Paying to new provider takes a lot of resources, while using yet another AWS like api is easier.

True, a lot of work you do in any government has very little do to with any political agenda. In fact many officials rarely pursue things that make the headlines.
