Should note, you currently _can_ (or will soon) get gaming and compute through vulkan or rusticl. It's just not currently very fast, yet.

Tbh, I'm more eagerly watching the development of rusticl on nvidia hardware. While I use graphics APIs more often, not needing nvidia's drivers for their CUDA support would be really nice. Say what you will about openCL, but open

On facts in the wikidata dataset? sure. But if you think this will stem the tide of LLM hallucinations, you're high too. LLMs' primary function is to bullshit. In chess many games play out with the same opening but within a few mo

Frankly, this whole exercise of "don't trust the cloud host" is pretty dumb. Flaws in chipset vendor products and new avenues of fuckery will continue to to be found. Expecting that you can trust a computer you've never

"we need to take the business in a different direction" that's the part you're conveniently leaving out. Indeed, if amazon paid entire divisions of people to sit on their hands in areas they've decided not to pursue

It's not a negotiation. It's google paying whatever sky-high sum apple demands, because google and their shitty search engine are toast the moment it's no longer the default.

It's not the selection lines, up on higher metal layers. It's the actual memory cells themselves being too close together on the substrate.

You have to actually measure a profile to ship it. That means sitting down in front of every single model with decent measurement equipment and running a test. This doesn't scale, especially not for a distro with limited resources.
