I just landed in Madrid, coming from Vienna. It was an international flight, but since it was within the EU, I didn't have to show my ID once. I bought my ticket online, I checked in online. At the security checkpoint, I showed my boar

I'd see this as a red flag and look for a different photographer. Some time ago I've had similar issues with a designer I hired: He wouldn't give me vector files, only flat PNGs. He said it had to do something with his reputa

If you really want to work on machine learning, do a PhD. If you have a bit of experience and if you are good at it, it should be very easy to find a paid position. In academia, especially during your PhD, you are very free to work on your

If you search for "Hacker News" on the iOS App Store, you'll find 20-something apps for reading Hacker News. I like MiniHack[1], but I've only actually tried two of the apps. [1] https://itunes.apple.com/at/app/minihack-for-hacker-news/id6

You don't need multiple cards with the same private key. You can use multiple cards with different private keys, that are all authorized for your server(s). If you lose one card, just remove that card's public key from the authorized keys.

I get the feeling that at the very top of every Hacker News comment thread, there's someone who claims that the author of the article is an incompetent idiot because they found a factual error somewhere in the article. Often this leads to a

The automatic trademark blacklist in Google adwords is really idiotic even if the trademark is valid. I once tried making an ad for my Mac app, and I couldn't include the word "Mac" or "Mac OS" in the copy because they are trademarks.
