Write up your own press releases and send them out to niche publications. Also work on the copy of your website so things are a little more clear.

No barrier to apply - If you want your application/idea in public just blog about it and stick up a demo. The rest of us will selectively and privately apply to programs we really want to be a part of.

We're actually taking a database from usda.gov and having MTurk write unique content for each item for our application. There are several other sites that already rank well just by copying the same data. For a few hundred dollars we should

I don't know how they link up profiles with keywords, but playing around with porn, STDs and other searches always brings up people's profiles. Do they have a privacy problem?

Yes, agree that it's great to use as a reference, but reading entire books sucks. Too much stuff going on in the page and can't read things offline.
