He was in college. What was the most despicable thing you did in college? I've learned all my lessons the hard way -- I believe many hackers do too.

Let reporters report the situation if they have proper gear and they understand the risks to tap into the power of the internet and world thinkers. Pass a bill to make the current state of censorship illegal.

Provide incentives for BP to use their tanker ships to collect oil that rises to the top instead of letting them be used for profit. (To do otherwise is to let BP pay their way out of the problem when they could fix the underlying issue.) 1

Stop using Corexit and chemical dispersants. 1. Dispersants to "treat" spills in the ocean is unprecedented 2. The EPA / scientists are concerned about long term environmental effects 3. Even the CEO of Nalco doesn't endorse this strategy,

I'm not rich but I've begun to give the homeless in SF quite a bit of my money. I used to just give them "spare change" and cigarettes, but you should see their face light up when you hand them a $5 bill + loose change. Try it with an open

The world could be starving but be rich on paper money. Same goes for gold. We could all be working towards a better world where food / shelter / medicine / sustainability is abundant, but people confuse this real wealth with money, which i

Well, my definition does not imply that what is False is easy to decide, and that's OK. If N != NP, then the statement "X is factorable" would be hard to decide, even if it's False (or True for that matter). Godel, in the proof of GIT, cho

Godel's "proof" states that G is undecidable, and since that is what G states, G must be True, and this G is a True statement that cannot be proven (or disproven). I say that the conclusion that G is True does not follow. Calling G True is

Can you prove or disprove this statement? "Godel's first incompleteness theorem is a Godel sentence" Anyways, it is my belief that Godel's Incompleteness Theorem is false by definition of Truth. That is, what is true is provable and vice ve

How do HFT bots help in your example case scenario? While the mutual fund is buying up Ford shares, the HTF are buying them up and selling them back to the mutual fund with a premium.
