I'm not sure where the grandparent got 400k lines from. Perhaps total number of lines modified? I'm seeing about 115k lines, with 88k from sxc.ssa as you mentioned. Still 27k lines of code in <3 weeks is a lot, so it isn't

I've worked with developing plugins for QGIS. It's just Python and PyQT, along with a bunch of things provided by QGIS itself. Overall a very pleasant experience, and their docs are pretty good too.

Right, but C-style generics really are not generics at all. As other comments point out, they effectively are conpile-time if statements. A generic function would automatically instantiate and generate required code for different call types

I feel like this phone would benefit from having a larger battery. 950 mAh is not bad considering there aren't any battery-draining apps, but having around 3000 mAh would make this more attractive as a sort of device one always carries

Raspberry Pi 4 has up to 8GB of RAM and a 1.5GHz CPU, but your point still stands. Even with those specs it won't provide a fully smooth desktop experience.
