Exactly, and to even give a trainee privilege to shut down all of storage seems like a policy failure. So the title should be 'Weak policies took down our business'

The thing that's killed it for me is scrum, even though I'm also a 'scrum master'. Or maybe because of that.

Britain has a perpetual housing famine, and the real truth is that they want it. They want the inequality and class hierarchy that derives from property ownership vs not.

This is great but would need to run on windows for the typical mumble use-case of gaming. It would also be great to have this running on ESP32 or similar, so you could make dedicated IP desk intercoms - I envisage a star-trek style intercom

WTF? Every time I use a smartphone I almost throw it out the window. The UI absolutely sucks. Then there are things like samsung edge or whatever, so when you even touch the phone it starts changing pages and clicking. Mobile sucks.

What is the 'calibre' (ebook manager) for qr codes? There must be a local app that can generate all the different qr codes, with custom redundancy levels, etc, etc, and is known as the comprehensive solution? This looks like jus

This is a problem with alternative layouts - you have to relearn or remap all the shortcuts for different apps as well as learn the new alphabet locations. Shortcuts sometimes use mnemonics, eg p to print or whatever, but they're often

So the relations must be stored somewhere. I'm guessing a join table that includes the table names of each record, ie a 'polymorphic' join table?

It's just more complex. I worked on a project in the mid-late 90s that had a couple of hundred developers, building a system of maybe 150 db tables not incl. join tables. 20 years later, I worked on a similar sized rails project, with

These are great in vegetarian 'minced meat' dishes like chili, to add a meaty umami taste. Having said that, Marmite is clearly vastly superior and has a deeper umami taste than the slightly fake industrial plastic taste of Vegemi

just feed the renewable to the grid? I suppose it could make some sense at peak solar hours to 'waste' the solar power to scrub co2 from coal plants that can't be shut down easily, but it still seems incredibly wasteful.

Well, it is underappreciated I think, that an increase in co2 levels is actually also a decrease in o2 levels - and animals can be quite sensitive to o2 levels.

I'm sure this is useful in some situations, but their example of converting the co2 from a power plant makes no sense to me. You burn carbon-fuel and oxygen to get energy (and most of the energy comes from the oxygen actually), then us

I think it's more like 2 dice, which always land on opposite sides, so 1 and 6, 2 and 5 and so on. And then a measurement isn't just to land a die, but also to choose which axis to measure - ie ask the dice are you a 1 or a 6. The
