I think EV weight is a genuine problem, and tbh most people really don't need 300 mile ranges, especially if they can charge at home and/or work. We need EVs with smaller batteries, and much more ubiquitous charging facilities. And possibly portable range-extender batteries or small ICs for longer trips.
