I own a framework, one of the early ones from launch. All of the ports are working. My SSD has no problems, and the hinge has been fine for us, but they upgraded it after launch so newer ones should be better.

In the context of function parameters at the edge of C# and c++ I don't think it will ever amount to a large amount of memory being wasted. The cache point may be relevant, but generally if you are calling into C++ in tight loops from

If you play the game Quake 3 Arena, which was, I think, the first game to use bezier curves in 3d rendering, so that a column or arch could dynamically adjust how many polygons are used depending on view distance, the columns are visibly no

Evidence is mixed on weight lifting and bone density. Some studies see no benefit at all. The idea that it is "crucial" isn't supported by any evidence at all. Most people have bone density that is fine without any weight li

I don't understand why your first claim supports the second. I agree obese people are very muscular. But since you won't need so much muscle and bone when you weigh less, why is it important to exercise any more than it is genera

C++ has an ages old tried and tested ecosystem for game stuff which probably makes a lot of rendering and audio tasks easier. It could take Rust years to catch up even supposing the language is inherently better.

This is usually a very simple decision. Do you need the performance of Rust? If not, use Go (or Java or F# or C# or whatever GC language you prefer)

Any product can end up no longer having work done on it, or the work can start getting bad. Such is life. With open source at least you have an option, if you run into one bug or missing feature, there is a chance you can patch it yourself

These are standard talking points that people parrot and both of them are misleading. There did exist a global cooling idea and it was in some pop sci magazines, but it was never a serious prediction by the climate change community. Even i

There is no regulation proposed, or method proposed, to substantively reduce how much co2 is emitted when you burn fossil fuels for power. That is why this problem is so hard. You can't put a filter in place like you can for heavy met

you mine for battery materials once. with an ICE engine you mine for oil over and over and over again, and you burn more fossil fuels to refine it, and burn more to transport it to you, over and over and over again.
