We have a Singer sewing machine from I think the 1930s that runs fine. Also a bakelite radio from I think the 1940s that worked fine about 15 years ago but hasn't been used since. I haven't reworked any of it but I think someone e

Kinda wish the top of the FLIRC case wasn't rubberized. My older one is sticky now, but that might be more of an issue in Florida humidity. Still got one for a Pi 4 and it ran well enough.

Exactly what I did. I loved my used 2015 but I ordered a 16" 2019 on day one. While I like it and it's my "daily driver", it was surprisingly low on wow factor. The biggest win on the 16" are the speakers. I didn&#x

Two that aren't on the list: It's getting a bit old now and prices crept up but I've been really happy with my little Gigabyte Brix GB-BLCE-4105. The J4105 Celeron is only 10W TDP but has 4 cores and a 3020 Passmark. $150 pl

We went through this. When 2008 hit the company stopped providing free sodas and bottled water for our office of only about 30 people. I was damn close to just buying them myself but it was crazy how upset a few people making moderately ins

Yeah I grabbed a used 2015 last year and mostly love it. Definitely been feeling the need for new and shiny lately so I'm glad my wait is over.

One thing that helped keep my 2015 viable is upgrading to a bigger and faster NVMe SSD. There are cheap adapters that let you install an M.2 drive. There are some pre-reqs and not all drives work but I've had zero issues with mine.

I bought one last summer and upgraded the SSD (with a small adapter you can drop in most NVME M.2 SSDs). HDMI out, dual mini DP out, 2x USB 3, SD card slot (which I keep filled with a 400GB microSD in a little adapter for more storage). Ret
