Yes, ASCII text of three decimal values per line (if I'm remembering correctly): 3.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 8.0 One of my favorite sort of problem was one that could easily be solved if you could handle arithmetic with integers larger than 32/64 b

It depends on the underlying representation. I know it's almost never anything except IEEE 754 now, but it could be different. When I was an undergrad doing the ACM programming contest, one year we had this triangle problem where, given the

There are some slightly uglier but cheaper alternatives for Raspberry Pi users that want a lower-profile SD card. They might be too thick for a Mac's SD slot though. There's a $12 version on Kickstarter now: http://www.kickstarter.com/pro

I'm curious why you didn't use the stock iTunes app store badge. That might convert slightly better if you get some site traffic. You should make sure to go through AppCod.es preso on app store SEO. I am regularly amazed at how bad my compe

My experience: There's always interest in an Android version, but rarely enough sales to justify porting the average paid iOS app. The only likely benefit to you would be having those Android apps in your portfolio if you need to do consult

I've seen the same thing happen everywhere from Usenet to Slashdot to Reddit. It's just how things go online, especially when people are allowed to be anonymous or just don't care about looking bad.

If I'm right, this was a fantastic job of link-bait. Users, especially parents, hate in-app purchases. But that's the way the app market has gone for now. So far I've been able to resist but except for educational apps (schools have the wor
