I've been using Gnome 3 on 2x22" monitors for about 6 months now, really like it. ThinkStation D20 running Fedora 16 is my main dev box, very productive set-up.

No idea why people are getting worked up about this, engineers move jobs all of the time. Once webOS becomes open source later in the year, it's real fate will be decided. As a fan of the platform, I hope that someone other than HP takes

Well it seems that Google seemed to care enough to change it: https://twitter.com/__DavidFlanagan/status/20542007304375501... Kudos to Google for fixing this.

While I somewhat agree with you're comment, however you're not addressing the fact that Google is using this to push their web browser Chrome.

Sorry, but you have misinterpreted that. Perhaps quotes would have helped? > More like helping to perpetuate the image that "the corporation where I work is a "fun" place to be". ...where I'm quoting a Googler ( not me).

I'm sorry, but I think you must be responding to me by mistake. I never worked for Google, no idea where you got that from.

Once again we have the latest Google marketing piece hitting the top of HN, getting tired of it (already commented about this here: http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=3898130 ). Also note that this one is being used to market Chrome, even

Don't forget the following: 1. Sit PHP-FPM behind nginx for a bank of persistent PHP interpreters. Access this via a Unix socket. 2. Use Memcache to cache your records. 3. Use APC to cache your PHP byte code.

All I think about when I look at that phone is that it is yet another bland slab phone running Android. That form factor is really holding back handset design in my opinion, and I had high hopes that Samsung was going to do something reall
