You know, every time I see one of these types of frameworks the first thing that comes to mind is "Some people are just determined to make C++ look cool again". I mean sure, sometimes you run into a case where you are running com

His committee examined the actions of the FBI, CIA, NSA and other agencies between World War II and the 1970s. Let's hope that it doesn't take another 30 years for these issues to be resolved. Though given the attitudes of the

Meh. To me this just seems like codification of what's already happening. If there are criminal charges against an NSA contractor, what's stopping the government from stopping it by claiming "state secrets"?

I'm simply dumbfounded by this. Why is nobody at the top taking any steps to do anything about the fact that Snowden had almost unhindered access to spy on whoever he wanted? That seems like a far more concerning security hole to me.

Depressing yourself is incredibly easy. If you don't believe me try thinking about Global warming, Poverty, War... you get the idea. It's getting out of depression that's difficult. Otherwise people would go to the doctor to complain that

One school of thought is that depressed people are in closer contact with reality due to their lack of defense mechanisms that keep others happy: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depressive_realism I don't think the evidence has completely

That's certainly not the way it works in the US. Our politicians routinely lambast people to score easy political points.

This seems like a pretty worthless test. I mean, who cares how many companies respond to your resume? The real test is how many job offers you can get, and that's a much more difficult than getting responses on your resume. Secondly, are

“There are hardly any startups in this batch that are bad,” Graham said. I believe one of two things about this statement, neither of which is what pg likely meant by it: 1. YC has bad startups it just hasn't recognized yet. 2. YC has a

Don't take this the wrong way, but why would I want you to review my code? I would consider adding a few "achievements" like: * I've worked on JS for x years. * I've written client-side JS for x companies. Anyway, you get the idea.
