Have you seen the codebase? Please don’t blanket reply like that just because it is a corp. Workerd is one of my favorite piece of engineering and its not comparable at all to openwashing projects that have extreme internal garbage not poss

The only thing reassuring is the Apache and Linux foundation setups. Lets hope this is not just an appeasing mention but more fundamental. If there are really models too dangerous to release to the public, companies like oracle, amazon and

The platform yes, but the runtime and the APIs are apache 2.0 licensed and uses web standards wherever possible. Thats way more open than most alternatives i am aware of.

Because an edge runtime should not directly start servers in the first place. You provide handlers that fulfil requests from the system. Edge runtimes that pretend to start the servers in the edge worker context are flawed and ugly from the

Cloudflare is not a CDN anymore but the workers edge platform, if you can move to bunny.net, you were not really using cloudflare. I don't understand how none of the alternatives really embrace WinterTC If i see something horrific like

The "permissions as access/visibility" is unfortunately not holding up in practice. As nice as a simplification like this would be: No one wants to configure up front what permissions are needed. Users will run into annoyance

Non open source and non local SAAS sandboxes are offensive to even try to launch. No one needs this and the only customers will be vibe coders who just don't know any better. There are teams building actual sandboxes like smolmachines,

Does anyone know what “agent tea” is in the second graph? There is a paper about a protocol but it seems a bit obscure to be featured in this context and the other two points on the graph are models.

Oh yeah I am not talking about cursor, maybe what it felt like when it was 1.0. There will be a new breed of GUIs for people who don't touch terminals. Opencode web and devin code review have a little glimmer of that but it will probab

No they are not. Tired of this 40 year old terminal setback instead of having real and beautiful GUIs. Its fine for some kind of people but don't think what works for you is acceptable for the other 50% of us.

Funny how in this space, once a company feels dead, you don’t even check out their release if the video looks decent, it would have to be totally revolutionary.

i think the time is just over where i would consider a saas for code review instead of a local first tool that i can use for my local agents exactly the same way as for my colleagues right where i build the software not on some website.
