I assume the several comments complementing the style of this app are being sarcastic, because.. come on..

Am I missing something? How is it not open source if I can view the source code at that link?

I agree, it's a really cool way to lay out code with commentary. I wonder if it would be useful to generate a layout like this from code interleaved with comments, moving the comments to the sidebar.

Doesn't it seem odd to have "Pricing" for a protocol that's meant to serve a similar function to IP addresses? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something.

Are problems with the ear the cause of this (i.e., the Problem), or just another symptom of a broader problem? My impression from the article is the latter.

I never quite understand this stuff, maybe someone can help. Are cryptocurrencies supposed to be a potential replacement for real life cash? This was my understanding of the motivation behind Bitcoin, at least. If so, why does it make sense

More generally, it's alt-#. On an ISO (e.g. UK) keyboard layout, shift-3 isn't a hash.

This looks interesting! I wanted to find more info about the Gemini protocol, and it's annoying how un-searchable it is now due to Google Gemini.

Which dumb phone? I would like to try similar, but there are always certain Android apps I need (banking apps like BankID, payment apps). Do you get a "pure" dumb phone and then a separate Android device for when it's require

Use only default (white/black), red for bad, green for good. If you need more than that, like vim or whatever, then maybe a 'fullscreen' TUI is better, with a specified background and foreground. For CLI tools, I'm not s

Playing around with a bit more, I think the tool might not be suitable for my use cases. If I try it with the command `gcc -Wall` it thinks that each of W, a, l, (and l), are separate single-character arguments, and therefore fails badly: `

I just tried it out, nice! It's a useful tool, but the installation process didn't work for me following the steps as written. As it stands: * The shellock directory must be in ~/Downloads, otherwise the shellock_bindings.f

Here's a short writeup of a bit of my build system for a project I'm working on. It's pretty simple, and is just a relatively clean way of recording the repository state when code was compiled, so I can reproduce results late

I've been working on this tool for a couple of weeks to try and help students in a course on operating systems. They had a task to implement a shell, and it was kind of tricky viewing the processes that their shell makes using top/

Yeah true, maybe could be done with heuristics though - in nearly every case, there's only one single blinking block, which is the cursor. However, not everyone has their cursor configured to blink, and there are cases where there are
