maybe not the best words but ... policy to control everything is simply evil. What Apple is doing (kills concurrence) is evil in the purest sense of word 'evil'

if you use Gnome - Gtk# is better choose than qt with it's strange looking controls (under gnome). Also I don't think it will be ever possible to make such a good autocomplete/intellisense with any qt/c++ tool (lack of reflection not to men

Using Monodevelop (Mono IDE) is the fastest way to write a desktop app on linux (vide recently announced Pinta). Really great stuff.
