That makes it sound like android phones are at fault. It's an iOS problem where they refuse to be compatible. People who use iOS should be asking Apple to fix it if they cared about this problem at all.

Believing he built two of the most important companies of the 21st century is part of the con. The first being that they are the most important and that he built them.

The next obvious conclusion once it is established that the hyperloop concept was a con is that the person proposing it and other ideas is a con artist.

I know it will never happen. At least not anytime in the near future. There is usually a group of people advocating that using an adblocker is like stealing or killing businesses. My counter argument is that I'm fine with that. Don

If there were no ads anywhere on the internet than everything would be on an even playing field. Currently a site that offers a paid service for something that someone else gives away for free is at a huge disadvantage.

If something is not sustainable without ads that seems to imply that people are not willing to pay for it. If people aren't willing to pay for it then I'm not sure it is a good business model. Regardless of the consequences I'

I have noticed the same problem. Every week they will re-enable the watch history automatically. They also changed the option from turn off watch history to pause watch history. I'm pretty sure this is an intentional change to make sur

Same. I tried a ton of things such as "Robot", "Banana", "Cheese", "Flower", etc.. and got things that were completely random.

I appreciate all these recent articles referring to it as an "LLM" rather than "AI". That way you know it is specifically about the technology instead of marketing hype.

They would have to admit that their current Orea has differed from the past despite being marketed as the same Orea that it always had been.

Maybe the internet did cause massive social upheaval. It just looks a lot more boring in reality than imagined. I get the feeling the most advanced LLMs won't be much different. In the future maybe that's just what we will call co

There is no way back to the way things used to be, but that doesn't mean it can't get even worse. If your house burns down there is no going back to your house not being burned down, but it's still better to put out the fire

There is no such thing as AI. If math in a box is sentient then so is my desktop computer and cellphone. This is a non-issue for the foreseeable future.

I'm fine with licenses too. I just think it should be made more obvious to the user and the price should reflect it's non-perpetual nature.

I agree completely. Also in practice there is almost no such thing as a perpetual license as companies can go bankrupt or just revoke your license whenever they want. They should make the exact nature of the agreement known visibly before y

Boats aren't constrained by weight like planes are. You could put any amount of batteries on a boat and get it to float and move on water. They can also be moved by wind. I may be wrong, but I also thought there existed some nuclear po

What are the chances that planes are just not a viable mode of travel in 100 years time? It would be interesting if it only existed for less than 200 years throughout all of human history.
