Right, I don't mean worse on a per case basis. Just worse overall number of cases if they respond the same way as the US. Instead they are basically forced to do these harsh lockdowns or else it would be way too devastating. If covid c

It seems like Omicron is way worse in China because their initial lockdown response had them living in a covid bubble while the rest of the world got infected. Unless they managed to never have another case forever this seemed like an inevi

I don't care at all about corporations or what they spend money on. No corporation exists to make the world a better place. If that happens it is just a side effect of them filling some market. It feels weird for anyone to be a fan of

Over a long enough time frame the stock market and even the whole economy behaves like a pyramid scheme as it is dependent on new generations to be more people than the previous one.

I think Apple, Samsung and Google should give up on this whole iPhone 13 and Pixel 6 naming and numbering scheme and stop pretending like it is going to be an exciting brand new product every single year. They should name them more like car

Not to mention that most older folks can navigate in places they are semi-familiar without a need for a device at all. Most Gen Z drivers are basically incapable of conceptualizing a map of an area in their head and completely dependent on

What would happen if Coinbase went bankrupt? That would be rather catastrophic to the Crypto market wouldn't it? Do they have any obligation to give people access to "their" crypto wallets?

You can analyze any single part of a modern large piece of software, but I think the point is that you can no longer remember the entirety of the software or hardware. Even a single function is going to get compiled through multiple layers

It seems like their proposed solution is decentralized blockchain identities which in theory should be impossible to revoke. I don't know what that would look like in practice, but if every web service needs to support it then I doubt
