This is the point of transparent pricing. It's impossible to do so right now, even with insurance. If they can even give a ball park number for a particular procedure or test (average, or min-max range, or SOME number) it would help wi

I'm somewhat skeptical of the thought that FPTP makes it harder to rig the system. I'm probably a bit information diet biased here, but it seems (as an example) that Republicans have had more court rulings against them due to unfa

That's yet to be determined. Disney is a big influence on the length of US copyright protections. Let's see what happens come 2024: > On January 1, 2024, we'll see the expiration of the copyright for Steamboat Willie—and w

There are many other voting systems that are better than the current first past the post (FPTP) voting system that the US currently uses. None are perfect, but pretty much every single one is better than FPTP. A ranked-choice voting system

You make a interesting point. I wonder if we've actually seen this in practice anywhere. Perhaps to avoid this, you receive a portion of the amount paid back to creditors equal to your percentage of debt owed?

This is a poor way to track who is selling your contact details. It's trivial to strip + aliases from a list.

I just tested it with a bunch of periods. I got rejected with just two periods adjacent, and with quite a few more periods adjacent. So only bits. Looks like it can be used for filtering too.
