It’s amazing the lengths how reactionaries go to hide what they really mean. It’s most on display when we around and around entertaining their insane notions that acknowledging systemic racism is the actual racism. It’s shocking how often t

As a US citizen i would only expect someone to force me to unlock my phone at a US port of entry, not when leaving. And yeah i'm willing to waste their time on my way back from the trip if they try to waste mine.

I've dealt with this problem my whole life and tbh it's a cost/benefit trade off. Assuming your employer isn't being flexible enough to upgrade they are simply saying that the risk of exploitation of employee machines is

I have to assume that people are reacting to the fact that your OS isn't supported anymore. Check the top reply to your question.

Yes their recent trend of moving user privacy to the forefront is one of the few really positive trends i've seen out of apple in the past 2-3 years. Ignoring that the questions being asked by the OS are good is very bizarre.

I'm not sure I understand. I've just observed a staggering amount of internet commenters (often, but not at all limited to, people who are made very upset by people they label "sjw"s) assert either directly or by implica

Is anyone else worried about this trend where people seem to believe the more angry someone gets at the things they say the more correct they must be?

In my experience when these people are made the least bit uncomfortable in any social situation they immediately call the police. They're not who they pretend to be online.

From experience, people who are able to live their lives casually collecting weapons here are also able to live pretty disconnected from the reality of these types of situations. We're long, long past a world where a rag tag band of id
