In your code, you don't have to use exceptions to indicate a failure but you still have to catch exceptions thrown by third-party libraries (or their dependencies). It is not easy to stay away from exceptions if your language supports

"Job by distribution" was no secret and it is a well-known thing among people from post-soviet countries. Graduates were obliged to work at assigned place, usually for three years.

It was illegal not to work in the Soviet Union. There was even a name for such people who weren't officially employed - "tuneyadets". [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parasitism_(social_offense)

It will have BRAM. There’s a detailed information about one of these ICs in their software - ForgeFPGA Workshop. SLG47910V has: 32kb of BRAM; 900 LUT4 equivalent; 1.8k DFFs; 5kb of distributed RAM; integrated 50MHz OSC, PLL.
