A friend of mine told how powerful SharePoint (a M$ product) is for automating workflows, information sharing, reports and all. He's technical, but definitely not a programmer and he's able to run/script all the business proc

Thx. The Server code looks very clean and design-patterny. In particular I'm learning a thing or two about OAuth2 from reading: https://github.com/Feedient/Server/tree/master/src/strategie...

Very good insights about marketing material that is "useful". The idea reminds me of Vaynerchuk’s Jab, jab, right hook strategy http://www.forbes.com/sites/danschawbel/2013/10/11/13-memor

On that note, could someone recommend a tool for automatically generating the graph that shows the class dependencies/hierarchies in a Java code base? I'm sure there are good tools out there, but all the ones I tried so far (JArch

You can look into softcover/polytexnic here: https://github.com/softcover/softcover , I believe it had a decent .tex style for a book. Also very powerful pipeline for producing .epub/.mobi from .tex Another e

Observation 1: Nice idea, but what remains to be filled in is why people who earn 1M per year will want to give $145,000 to the gov. every year, instead of continuing to use N levels of ownership indirection and contribute-money-to-the-budg

Very cool and readable. For something even cooler (but less readable) here is SF alpha, in js: https://github.com/gamedev8/js-sfa (very faithful to the SF alpha game mechanics)

The "condensed version of {{book.title}}" is an interesting idea, but not easy to pull off. Many concepts are inherently complex, and don't lend themselves to compression. For many topics though, a 2x -- 5x compression ratio

Would formal verification work for a more involved, "entreprise-level", code bases? Also I imagine it would be fairly hard to verify code that depends on external state (e.g. reads from a DB).

This article is a very tact-full way of calling bullshit on dark matter and dark energy. For a bit of context, dark matter is simply a placeholder name physicists give to explain an anomaly in the observed rotation of far-from-centre stars

Wow, KA hits another one in the outfield! The audio that highlights part of the code is awesome (much better than watching a passive video), and the fact that everything can be executed in real time is awesome. Good job!
