   Just piling on with similar sentiment. Corporations aren’t people, people are corporations. Saying friends shouldn’t discuss their life’s work is weird, but of course benefits profits and nation state power structures.

   I’d push back that the behavior of disregarding privacy is a tech community thing. It’s there, but as a side effect of social culture enabling it. We’ve been normalized to let it go by social pressure to trade, travel, and be scanned at air
