This valuation is absurd. Perhaps a year ago- sure, but there have been so many iterations of this “kind of editor” since then, not to mention countless alternatives. So for me it’s more of a data deal - Elon buying himself some insight int

Coming from a company that makes infrastructure out of a view layer / vDOM library - I think anyone relying on Vercel has only themselves to blame.

It’s really funny how people are surprised or upset about the pricing “anomalies” of these SaaS models. If you’ve been around in tech, you know it’s probably designed to keep you outraged about it to keep engagement up and essentially free

I would say the root problem is not someone seeking to prevent piracy but rather the fact that so many services are clustered behind the same proxy / CDN service (e.g. Cloudflare). That in my view is what needs to be regulated and Clou

I’m blaming everyone else for “just use Cloudflare”. How many times the world needs to learn the lesson about letting corps outgrow their usefulness and become maligned? There are alternatives and any search engine can lead you to them

Very good example as to why using a single, centralised proxy globally by all services is a bad idea. Docker would never have a reason to block anything if they were simply running their own. For everyone else, small and big, this is the we
