As the developer of Red Stamp Mail I can tell you that there is in fact such a market, albeit small (or perhaps I just suck at marketing). The problems you describe are exactly what I tried to fix, and users seem very happy to have a simple

This looks pretty awesome. Could it be used for importing email contacts from gmail/yahoo/live etc.?

One possible use case is "live editing" of an object. Imagine a form that lets you build an HTML button from various properties: text, color, font, background, border-radius etc. Using way.js the button can be updated immediately

What does Nginx do if the log message is longer than the 1KB limit imposed by the syslog protocol?

Almost garbage? This is the OCR result for the 2nd paragraph. Almost perfect, although the last word in each line gets joined to the first one in the next line: "The fundamental problem of communication is that of reproducing atone poi

It's a clever idea, but not a malware attack - just a way to hide what the attack does and make it more difficult to detect. It still needs some javascript code to extract the malicious payload from the image.

Yet another startup with no viable business model shutting down after spending the investors' money. I simply don't understand how companies get funded when they have no real way of turning a profit.

I think you're missing a "currency" field in the request, particularly since you support both AUD and USD.

OMG. Just when you think you've heard the worst (SOPA?). The discussion going on about whether it's a criminal or civil offense is really pointless. The main thing is that a country can simply decide one morning that it's illegal to access

I, for one, think that your idea is great. Good luck! Suddenly, an idea - what if you let charities request to be included in your service? Once a charity is on-board, they have a great incentive to tell people about you, link to you and so

Pretty sure they made this page specifically to get to HN front page. Userlook was posted to HN a month ago, then 3 weeks ago, then 3 days ago... The previous attempts were more straightforward but not very successful. See http://www.hnsea

Don't assume that you cannot charge more than the competition. If your service is better / faster / higher quality / more personal and so on, customers will be willing to pay a premium. Perhaps not all of them, but some. You can always quot

Cute, I like it. One thought: although the text area is cool for us geeks, what value does it add for the typical user over a more structured data entry approach? I think the text area leaves too many ways for the user to make mistakes.
