That’s because people don’t actually give a rats ass about competition directly. They care about _cost_ AND _convenience_. Steam is great on both fronts and you don’t have to create yet another account or have another buggy pos launcher on

For research. That’s not welfare. Research funding is a merit and application based process with multiple reviewers. This is the same for every university or professor.

$2000 for remote exec on all their users even if it’s all 17 of them? Insultingly low.

Why is why I’ll never be using any of these as the default. ls works, is not mission critical (you know what I mean), and will always be around.

Disclaimer: I haven’t tried the syntax but it doesn’t scream “easier” to me. Latex doesn’t either. Plus this doesn’t seem to compile down to latex so I also lose the engine. From experience, latex makes beautiful documents and choices which

I do not mean this to be blamey in any way shape or form and am asking only about the process: Shouldn’t that have been caught in code review?

Likewise. Rock solid for decades in intel + nvidia proprietary drivers even when doing things like hot plugging for passthroughs.

This is great, it looks nice, works exactly as one would expect it to (very links, no clickbait), cats (the internet was made for cats after all) and loads instantly.

You can like a message a page up, for example, and you’ll get a random “user liked your message” and be completely lost.

This is very well done, congrats on the launch and I am extremely impressed by your decisions (to keep this as simple as possible, to avoid scanning, and to provide apps). I am equally, if not more, impressed by your replies to comments her

And what state is that? I do know that some states are over zealous about this but two vehicles driving next to each other slowing gaining on another to overtake is also creating a dangerous road situation. This is taught when you take your

In a fantasy world where everyone does, I agree. In our reality if you’re the only one going the speed limit in what’s often not the right most lane then you’re a road hazard.

I wish systemd would die or just be just an init system. This whole thread is people suggesting vague and non obvious solutions to things that people already knew how to do with just linux utilities now with some weird other binary.

Absolutely not a fan of JSON. It’s not typed, and I definitely don’t want to know about each tools schema (and it’ll be worse without the definition). There is nothing wrong with Linux tools, they do one thing and do it well.
