I disagree (or maybe because I don't fully understand your comment). In my (limited, I'm not a FE dev) experience, you layout an HTML page by hand but I do not want that with a research paper. I want to write my paper and let LaTe

May have to wait for the next generation nvidia cards that may come with DP 2.1(?). That'll potentially let you drive 4x8k screens with just 4 cables.

I don’t think azure is relevant here. Standardizing SR-IOV would be much more helpful to everybody (but much more important to Azure/cloud platforms). Kvm setups can already pass through gpus just fine. This is a way to lock developers

Because this benefits only WSL. I don’t think that the Linux maintainers should spend time and effort maintaining a shim that only benefits users on another operating system. It does not even lead to cross platform code if a dev uses this o

So what? Just because the US does something too does not mean that they’ve to be ok with others doing the same. You may think the world works like that, but it don’t.

There are only 5 days a week anyway - so you used to be a remote worker pre covid. This is not a counter point.

Is multi monitor support in Linux broken? I've been going strong for ages with proprietary nvidia drivers and i3/dwm.

Why is there such a big difference in timing between Skylake and Rome? Something compiler specific? The number of steps required to create a thread should be identical. I’ll also be interested to see the same benchmark but using pthread_cre
